I'm a Versatile Blogger!!!!

Okely dokely!!
I am incredibly excited that I have been nominated for this amazing award!
The rules  are as follows:
1) Thank the wonderful person that nominated you for this award.
2) Include a link to his/her blog .
3) Select 15 blogs to nominate for the award - (I'm terribly afraid that I can only do 4, as I only follow about 10 blogs, and most of those have already been nominated)
4) Tell the person who nominated you and your lovely readers 7 facts about yourself.
Sooooo, I was nominated for this award by the amazing, wonderful, fantabulous bloggeress that is Alice S - and if you haven't already, go and check out her blog 'too much light burns the negative', because it is brilliant!

Now, 7 facts about myself.  Jinkies this is difficult. Alrighty here goes:
1) I have the most adorable, black, super softy cat called Holly (who is currently clawing at my feet).
2) I am completely in love with Harry Potter, and feel the need to read it at least once a year otherwise I may just die.
3) I am also in love with Starkid, the incredible drama group who created the amazing show that is 'A Very Potter Musical'! Go and watch it.... NOW!!
4) I play the viola, the least fashionable member of the string family!
5) I luuurve chocolate, (who doesn't!) particularly CADBURYS!!
6) I want to be a doctor!
7) I have never been kissed, or had a boyfriend (or girlfriend), but I'll get around to it eventually !

So, the blogs I am going to nominate are:

I am so happy that I was nominated for this award, and to my lovely readers out there - I love you!

Revision Revision Revision

Helloooo my long lost buddies!!
I have not posted in a very... long.. while..., because of (yep, you guessed it!) REVISION!
My GCSE's have finally come around, their ugly heads waving in front of me like the stupid, icky, disgusting things they are.
Now I don't really have anything to write, just that life sucks, and I cannot wait until the holidays finally come around. My 10 week holiday.. ooh I can almost taste it!!
I love you all, and I'm very very sorry for this awful post, but I felt that I had to post something, otherwise my blog would cave in, and I would die! Well, ok. I wouldn't. Actually nothing much would happen. But still...
Lots and lots of virtual hugs and kisses for all of you guys suffering through exams at the moment. Also, virtual hugs and kisses for those who are not doing exams (lucky beggars), but just need some loving. I'm rambling.. ramble alert!!!
Love you!

Motorways

I love driving. Not that I can actually drive ..YET.. but I love the feeling of sitting in the back of a car, peering out of the window simply watching the world fly by.
I most love driving along motorways. Passing hundreds and hundreds of cars, full of  hundreds and hundreds of people. I think about these people, and imagine where they're going, what sort of lives they have, their friends and families. Thousands of lives, which I will never ever know anything about. It's mind-blowing and is even more incredible when I realise that these thousands of people  driving by make up such a tiny percentage of the world's population, full of so many lives, with so many stories that I know nothing about. It's unimaginable.

Love you all!

'Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own' - Matthew 6:34

Random iPod tunes!

Sooooooo, here's a little something that I've been meaning to post for a..g..e..s.....
I have a very weird selection of songs/audiobooks/stand up comedy stumbling around on my iPod, and I thought I might share some with you, using the RANDOMATOR!!! (in other words, the shuffle button)

1) The Club is Alive - JLS (slightly embarassing!)
2) Candy - Paulo Nutini (LOVE this song)
3) Manicunian Way - Take That
4) Skinny Genes - Eliza Doolittle (this whole album cheers me up whenever I'm down)
5) Temptation - Heaven 17 (yes, I downloaded my mum's 'Best 80's Album Ever')
6) The Man who Can't be Moved - The Script
7) 1996 - The Wombats (the year I was born in!!)
8) Council of the Pussies - Starkid  (I apologise for this, but I simply adore Starkid)

There you go! It is a bit of a strange mix, but that's just me.
Love you all!

Feeeeelings

I am a very emotional  human being.
I get upset on a regular basis, about the most stupid things, remembering a childhood friend, watching the part in 'A Knight's Tale' when Will is reunited with his father, or even just listening to a sad song (Lighthouse by Patrick Watson does it for me every time)

Looking through my diary, I realise that recently I have been thinking about/crying over the idea of freedom. Sometimes I feel I've got to get away (not a reference to ~ Soft Cell's Tainted Love ~ - oh ok, it is, I've been listening to too many 80's records lately - sorry, back to my emotions). Simply get away from my family and be alone for a bit.

I get frustrated with people being around all the time. Not because I hate my family, I love them to pieces, but sometimes I feel I'm a bit... repressed, constrained... restricted. If I want to go somewhere or meet someone, I have to ask about it first. If I decide I want to sit in bed and eat chocolate all day well, I can't. If I want to watch 'A Very Potter Musical', and sing along to the songs very loudly, I will receive frowny looks from my nearest and dearest!

What is worse is the way I place boundaries on myself. I'm scared to get a boyfriend because I worry that my family would laugh and tease me, and as a result of this, I've never been kissed.  I worry about going on a diet, or trying to lose weight, as my family might disapprove.

I simply feel that I'm not able to be myself. I know it's not my family's fault, it's something I bring unto myself, but I can't help but feel, if I had more freedom, then I might be.. happier?

I apologise for all the teenage angst bursting out of this post, but it had to happen at some point.
Love you all!

P.s. Here's the Patrick Watson song that is so beautiful it makes me cry.

Disney Films

Hiya!
On the last day of the holidays (boohoo, back at school now) I finally decided to watch Tangled, a super cute Disney film that I taped about 5 months ago. I loved it, obviously  (I mean, who doesn't like Disney films), and it got me thinking about my childhood, and all the Disney films I used to watch and love.
So here is a list of my top 7 Disney Films!
1) The Lion King (Hakuna Matata gets me every time)
2) Beauty and the Beast
3) The Little Mermaid
4) Snow White ('Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work we go!')
5) Sleeping Beauty (Although the wicked witch used to terrify me!)
6) Fantasia
7) Cinderella
Please feel free to comment with your top Disney films!
Love you all!
